I gifted the 'intangible asset' as IP to the old co. It would have meant moving to other premises with manufacturing space, which the then landlord had available. He didn't want us vacating to other premises, so the idea was to wait out the existing lease and then move on. The company became...
Hi
I gifted an intangible asset (thoroughly researched idea and process for a product design) to my old ltd. The company has since been dissolved by CVL, but the asset in question didn't realise any money by the liquidators.
Does the asset pass to the crown, or am I able to use the...
In all honesty, it's a real shame. The original owners did a fantastic job and sold the company in 2018. The then new owner was a little creative shall we say. When I acquired the business we realised the goodwill of the suppliers had been completely exhausted. Fabricated figures, etc...
The liquidator advised me to become a director so that I could start the liquidation process. About two months later I resigned as director.
The SPV bought the shares of the company.
It would appear I need to cut my losses and accept that I cannot use the trading name.
Thanks, Frank. Appreciate your input.
Ironically, the company is still in liquidation. The previous owner has been under investigation since day one and the last report from the liquidator stated that their investigation was ongoing.
??

Part of the deal was that my SPV...

It's really strange, he's asking questions now that the other firm asked within the first few days of being appointed. Does this mean he can't submit a directors conduct report then? Or should/would he have done that within the three months regardless?
We provided everything to the original practitioner including bank statements, absolutely everything. Within about 4-5 days after submitting everything in their client portal we got shut out of everything to do with the bank and the credit card company. We transferred a £40k tax rebate to...
Hi. We put our company into liquidation last year, and now a year later the liquidator is asking for various bank statements, credit card statements, etc that we don't have.
The landlord locked us out of the unit before we'd had a chance to collect everything, and as you can imagine when we...
Hi Guys
Has anyone ever worked with a Community Benefit Society? We normally use CreditSafe to credit check our customers regularly, but for the life of me I can't seem to find a way of checking a CBS, and we're supposed to be doing a sizeable project with one.
Any insight would be greatly...
