    I have a bill from a van main dealer, that has long since been paid, vat claimed etc. After making my views very clear to the vehicle manufactures, they have paid me the same value as the bill, to keep my gob shut and end my dispute with them. The effect on me is they have refunded my money...

    I'm seeing more and more customers saying thing like "We Pay 30 Days from end of month" when we are chasing payment. This is despite our terms been 30days and people agreeing to this when they accept our T&C. I'm guessing they are feeling the squeeze and trying to push some of it down the line...

    Alot will do cheap offers for "postal items", but you are into parcel category, best thing is probably to try the people that are US based i.e. DHL, UPS etc. Failing that can you split the items in to 2 smaller items?

    Don't worry I'm quite against that myself. If I see someone discussing something I can help with, I may pm them refering to their thread, but never just out the blue.

    Allstar are the ones that go anywhere (well most places), down side is you tend to pay pump price, which depending on where your cars are spending most of their time can be a good or a bad thing.
