If you are that way inclined, the web store can be done pretty well by yourself, i used to do it in the evenings while relaxing a little. I used Wordpress for the site, WooCommerce for the shop and had Paypal and Credit/Debit via Stripe payments and it all worked well. As many here will likely...- Davek0974

Yes, never, ever try to compete with the low-ballers, you will either lose or die trying. The hanging basket bracket business is rife with £3.99 brackets - I could not even get the steel for that much let alone bend it, weld it and coat it. I succeeded with higher quality brackets in the £12.99...- Davek0974

You sound pretty much where i was some years back - i was metalwork though not woodwork. I made hanging basket brackets, fire-pits, house-numbers and other garden style stuff. I started out with eBay and Amazon plus my own website/shop. Things were slow but it was making pocket money at least...- Davek0974

Just been digging through my Wordfence logs and see that someone at Amazon Web Services "AWS" has been banging at my door 75 times in the last day - Wordfence has them blocked but I also see that they have been trying to log in using my real log-in user name ! How do you change the admin user... -

I think thats half the trouble - I have no real idea of how to display what I have in user friendly or even clear way. All I have is some categories with a picture on each, a big heap of posts related to those categories and not much else. I can imagine the home page with a grid of category...
