    Hey Pet Nanny, If your website is on wordpress dot com you can't change the footer with the credits. If you have a free forum chances are that they have hidden it so for someone without coding experience it will be impossible to find and remove.

    Which ecommerce platform for my start up?

    I would always recommend Wordpress running on WooCommerce. It's a quick deployment, really stable, low cost, plugins for most requirements available both paid and free and it's really popular - meaning you can find relatively low cost help quite easily.
