    Yes, it is worth to buy backlinks but make sure to your seller that those must be decent links and not "spammy"... it must look natural so that it will last on the website. Another key here is to not to do so much backlinks (100+) at once.. it is more proper if you will diverse the links...

    Refrain from using Meta Keywords, and concentrate more on Page Title, and Meta Descriptions.. If you set meta keywords, it is just like showing off to your competitors the keywords you are targeting.

    Well, I think you mean you have optimized a website and got a good result, but a specific page that you optimized dropped 10 degree on the position? Hmm, I guess there is nothing to worry about.. it is the Google dance and it is normal in the world of SEO.

    I also guess that the competitor's website is doing deep linking... maybe you just check the backlinks of its homepage and not every page of it.. A big buzz from social media also adds additional factors for the ranking of a website.
