    Approaching businesses with my products

Hi Will, I would try and get some stock first, even just one line of the most common product. Otherwise you will end up running all over town, asking for everyones' opinion for 'Market Research; and put it altogether, find out your customers want hundreds of different option, in dozens of...

    Finding Investor For Startup

Hi Zillaboom, I would definitely go for a credit card. It is not worth getting an investor, as mentioned £1500 or even £3000 is a small amount. Business loans are a pain in the butt and have high fees and interest. A consumer credit card will have similar fees and some have good introductory...

How long did it take your new website to pick up sales?

I have had sales within a few days by using Google Adwords. But I do think you get better quality traffic with SEO. Adwords is good to start with and learn which keywords convert, SEO is good for the long run in my opinion. John

Free Accounting & Stock Taking Software

If you are growing and have a fair amount of stock to manage, I would go for some sort of paid software that is fairly inexpensive and scaleable as you grow. Free ones can be pretty restrictive, the dollar savings often don't reflect the savings in time and efficiency. Regards John

Does it matter if you are...

I tend to put a higher priority on SEO than on design. You don't need an intricate design or a fantastic visual impact to convert sales online. You need a respectable design and a functional website and TRAFFIC. You can have a brilliant website and no traffic and you won't get sales. But you...

    Digital agencies from India?

I have used them for a few different things SEO, Graphic Design, Website design. I have had good and bad experiences. I definitely wouldn't use them for SEO, unless you know exactly what to do yourself and just want to outsource the mundane tasks. I got a website penalised by Google and it cost...

Anyone use their own email newsletters

Hi, I use iContact, as they are not as restrictive as MailChimp. As we got alot of emails offline, Mailchimp wouldn't allow this, even though we had consent, it was just not recorded digitally. I did look at doing it myself. There is software out there, but I am not a whizz with setting up...
