Not sure about Windows, but when I had to replace my MacBook, I did a timemachine backup and when I put that onto my new Mac, absolutely everything transferred over. I am sure there must be something like available for windows.
When I had another business, we had everything on the one phone line which worked fine.
We had Telephone, fax, Broadband and streamline. Again, not that it was ever a problem, you could only use one feature at a time ie fax/phone/CC - the broadband was always fine.
Our first VAT return was for £1.5k, presumably as its your first you had to give your bank details, but it took about 4 days for ours to be paid direct to the bank.
No checks.
Hi happymamma,
Firstly a million % respect for you wanting to do this with a new baby about!
Secondly, though I have NO experience in this field, I have an ex client who had a fantastic business doing this sort of thing, unfortunately the business didn't survive, but that wasn't due to lack...

I see the point of standardising things so one price for all. I also see the point of paying someone for the labour. And I am happy to pay for something like that, but being totally out there, it kinda makes me think of the whole bank charge situation, does it really cost £32 to send a letter...
I just have to have a rant, and may get shot down by other suppliers.
Basically, I am trying to purchase goods online at pennies. Reason I am doing it online, is I know that my local supplier doesn't have what I am looking for.
The goods are costing around 35p, and I am happy for them to...
I actually can't get the hang of the smartmailbox solution, but agreed the spotlight search function is great, and wonder now how I managed without it.
Thats interesting John, All our Macs are setup with IMAP and I found it easier to set up than outlook.
I think contacts and calendar integration is a bit 'long winded', but when you can select the number/date/day and use the drop down box to add to iCal or contacts, I thought that was...
I agree with Bovine 100% that whats right for one person, might not be right for the other, I think that applies to everything in life and not just business, you should always have an opened mind on these types of things.
