3rd party debt collector for an invoice we never owed

The internet says this debt collection company is scammy and their threats can be ignored. I don't want to post the name as I don't want them to be able to find this post and identify myself as a target worth pursuing. I suspect their strategy is to send 1000s of emails and grab the low hanging...

3rd party debt collector for an invoice we never owed

UPS didn't provided much detail so I don't know exactly which shipment it relates to. It will be on my Amazon account somewhere unless I was never charged because of the screw up. But Amazon generated the labels and there's no system in place for us to pay UPS directly. That's just not how the...

3rd party debt collector for an invoice we never owed

Our Ltd business sells products online on Amazon UK and across Amazon's EU marketplaces. To inbound our goods into Amazon's warehouse we use a program they have in partnership with UPS. Amazon provides us with UPS shipping labels at a heavy discount to deliver them into their Distribution...

How to find an Amazon distributor in the USA?

We are a brand that sells online, mainly via Amazon across UK and Europe. We want to expand into Amazon US, but I don't have the stomach or the funds for setting it up ourselves right now. I would prefer to sell wholesale to an American distributor, willing to take ownership of the goods from...

Does personal debt ever impact business borrowing?

I'm the director of my own Ltd company. No employees, just me on the payroll and 100% shareholder. I am thinking about taking out a sizeable personal loan. I am also considering taking out a business loan via the Recovery Loan Scheme. Question: Does personal debt ever affect the ability to take...

Splitting UK and EU revenues from our UK business bank account to our EU business account!?

Oh, in that case ignore what I'm saying - I don't know how it would work with 2 companies. I'm sure you have your reasons, but out of interest why are you setting up a separate EU entity? That sounds like an administrative and financial nightmare.

Splitting UK and EU revenues from our UK business bank account to our EU business account!?

The company pays tax on its worldwide profits regardless of which bank account the money went into. Your bookkeeping will include transactions from both bank accounts anyway so it doesn't make any difference.

Splitting UK and EU revenues from our UK business bank account to our EU business account!?

I'm not an accountant so probably shouldn't be replying, but why would it matter which bank account the payments go to? We sell in Europe and payments go to whichever account is more convenient.

Tac implications of company director moving abroad

Damn, just noticed title typo...that should be tax! Damn, just noticed title typo...that should read 'tax'! Thanks for your reply. My answers: 1. Yes they are all EU nationals except for me. Immigration won't be an issue. 2. Yes an online business. 3. No, my wife works as well. 4. Wife...

Tac implications of company director moving abroad

I run a UK VAT registered ltd company. No employees, just myself. I take payments through a nominal salary and dividends. I am looking to move abroad with my family, to either France or Spain. Does anyone have any experience with this? My UK account can't help me. Would I need to speak to an...

Can I mention competitors in my product marketing?

Yes same materials, same product, same people, same machines. Because my business is small and my competitors are a globally recognised behemoth and sell the same identical product for 3 times the price.

Can I mention competitors in my product marketing?

Can I market my products as "made in the same factory as [competitor's] products"? It's a true statement.

    Stock management issues...agggh!

I run a growing business and as we add more products to our catalogue and involve more suppliers, stock management is getting really difficult. We have a lot of colour variations with our products, so lots of SKUs, and trying to ensure we are always fully stocked in all SKUs is a challenge...

Amazing, I guess not then, thanks!
