    I don't have the rates with me, sorry. When we looked at them they were considerably cheaper than anyone else. Other companies we spoke to did have various set up fees, but nowhere near £250. Give them a call, they aren't pushy.

    I hope you don't get plagued with twenty plus calls a day telling you to register, telling you that you are passing too much etc. Bloody nightmare. Utilities registration board by far the worst.

    A second vote for FSB. My husband did a lot of research on the costs and FSB came out best. Terminal took a week to arrive, set up was 15 minutes.

    I have been looking on eBay for volume one, and there are many, many copies available. Broadly the older versions are much cheaper. My question is: can I get by with an early edition, given that I only want it to get a basic understanding, not pass exams. I have an accountant.

    I think you may be undervaluing what you do. You say he leaves the sales and IT to you, as you are better. He is taking care of other areas because he is better at them. He sounds well worth hanging on to. So why aren't you paying him more, or encouraging him to take more?
