I got 5000 A6 flyers (2 sides, colour) for a little over 50£ - excellent quality and included delivery. I'm not going to mention the company (PM me if you want it) but it was just found by searching online. A previous quote from a local shop was 4 times as much - you gotta love the internet.
There are countless PR distribution sites but a lot charge you to use them or don't allow links back to your site (or blog). Here are two free ones with links that I use:

I can't imagine having a styling and attractive website makes much difference in the grit business. As long as it's functional and customers can find it on the internet then let sleeping dogs lie.
There's a lot of competition in the online design marketplaces like elance (which I use) and you will get a lot of bids at around 50$ for a simple logo design. You can ask designers to quote for a full stationery set with logo, business card, letterhead etc for a bit more money. Good luck.

The danger of DIY product photos is that they look a bit amateurish like those pictures you see on eBay. Perhaps use the suppliers stock images and differentiate yourself by the quality and extent of product description you supply.
