Hi Folks,
Working on a broadband comparison search feature for a website. One core element we are missing is the user cannot search via his/her postcode to see which providers service their home or office. I know most of the big broadband sites offer this facility such as broadbandgenie.co.uk...
I'd be very careful of most influencers. It's a mine-field.
Business is about sales. Instagram influencers, in general, drive very few sales relative to their 'reach'.
That's why we prefer to focus on search marketing etc. People are usually on Instagram to look at photos of people's holidays...
We're considering marketing a small UK online retailer of mid-range watches on Google.
The PPC budget is relatively limited.
Would it be better to PPC to Google's search results, Google Shopping, or, despite it obviously being more work, should we try both?
Thanks in advance for the advice.
100% agree.
I call it Making Digital Taxing.
Quarterly filings to HMRC, for instance, are going to cost tens of thousands of man hours combined to business owners up and down the country.
The ever-increasing weight of red tape - and a 101 different taxes - imposed on businesses is not only...
Thanks very much for the insight. Really appreciate it.
Hate card readers. I login to e-banking 20+ times a week, so using one each and every time would be inefficient. I've been using computers full-time for over 35 years and know what I'm doing, therefore have never once had a security risk...
We need a new UK business bank account for SMEs. I've been looking at all the major high street banks as well as those that are smaller and fintech companies.
I'm looking for a bank that:
- has relatively low monthly and transaction charges
- great customer service
- a UK call centre for...
One of the businesses I consult for is owned by a gentleman who regularly forgets about what we agreed to in meetings and in emails. Therefore I've persuaded him to use an online task management program we can both access so that the tasks we agree to work on don't get forgotten and lost.
I've...
I use a credit card that gives cashback for all my personal purchases, which earns me a fair whack in cashback rewards every year (I pay off the full amount every month, so it leaves me quids in) and thought it may be a good idea to do the same with business purchases.
Having done some research...
There's dozens of tools out there to manage lots of accounts on different social media platforms at once. We all know about Hootsuite, Buffer, Dlvr etc. etc. These all charge a monthly fee for the premium versions that handle more than just, say, three social media account.
I've recently come...
I'll also vouch for Hootsuite like previous posters. It's excellent. We also use Dlvr, Buffer and Tweepi from our social media management clients depending on their needs. They've got different strengths and weaknesses.
Try them all - they have free versions - and see which you prefer the best...
I was wondering if anybody had used 'Pay As You Go Post' to forward their mail and what their experiences had been please?
The customer service has been good when I've contacted them, but I've read variable reviews online.
Thanks a million.
As the others have said it could be worth it if all the other major TLDs (endings) of your preferred domain name are gone and you wish to shout about a London presence/association, but generally it's best to avoid as the launch of such TDLs are mainly money-making schemes.
Many thanks for all the advice. It's been useful.
