That’s interesting as that’s very much a ‘shop space’. I wonder if it has to do with percentage of the space used though. Our showroom will be 2/3 of our space (excluding shared foyer & kitchen etc), workshop the remaining 1/3 . Sorry for jumping on your thread RO AV!

My worry about going to the planning department is that they object and cause major difficulties where we could probably trade undisturbed quite happily in our location otherwise. As the landlord has said, there is no one to object as the whole site is his.
