  • Hi, Any advice on a similar problem with BIP Solutions would be appreciated. We went through the log-in process for the "free" trial whilst on the phone to a chap from the company. At some point clicking through the screens we apparently agreed to sign-up unless we email back during the trial period. I made it clear at the initial discussion that we are already subscribing to a competitors service, and although interested to see the BIP service, we would not want to sign up yet.
A month after the free trial ended they have invoice a "discounted" bill of over £1000. On receiving we immediately called to state this was not something we had signed up to. They claim emails were sent stating the need to opt out before the trial period and we would have to pay a cancellation fee. We have received no emails and the guy we initially spoke to has now sensibly left the company.
Here's the laughable part; The cancellation charge for the month that passed after the free trial had ended prior to receiving the invoice is costing more than the annual invoice for the service!
Any advice on how to deal with this dodgy company would be greatly appreciated.
Hi . we are being threatened at the moment from bip solutions. we did take out the free trial but i sent at least 7 times and they are saying they didnt recieve them. wich is funny as they are recieving them now the free trail is over. they are saying that if i can send them the original email showing the digital signature it wouldnt be a problem. however aol emails come out of sent box and go to a different file after a month. i can find them and i have sent a screen shot of the first one to bip solutions but they only show the date . they are saying that because they do not show the time and "digital signature" this will not do. any advice please? they are offering us an opt out fee of £790.00 i have said that there is no way we are paying that for a service that we never wanted never asked for and cancelled 7 times. i left it today saying that i will speak to my solicitor and get back to them.

    many thanks

    Hi wevet -

Am looking forward to receiving a response from you of some sort to obtain some advice on how to retort to this awful business practice!

QSL have charged my card the fee of £395 for 6 months, even though I had sent them an email advising cancellation 2 days before end of trial.

I have now had an email back from them saying they will not refund because I canceled 2 days AFTER trial end... what is this nonsense!? I am incensed by this sort of business practice and think something really needs to be done to prevent it.

    Thanks - Nisa

    Hi

I've just had Natalie (QSL) on the phone - again! - demanding payment, the same story as all the others. Called to cancel, mailed to cancel and they are still demanding payment.

Have you any further updates as to court cases etc regarding this unethical organisation?

    Thanks
    Jane

    Hi there
I noticed your post about QSL. I too fell into their trap. Am preparing a legal response now as they are threatening court action. Any help appreciated. Also I'm thinking of co-ordinating a response from all the people who have posted. Strength in numbers!
