    Hi, I am looking for a self employed accountant who has experience of dealing with SEIS, EIS and other related HMRC investment incentive schemes and have seen from some of your posts you seem to be knowledgable about these incentive schemes.     Hi Contractor Accountant I hope you don't mind but I read one of your posts in relation to claiming additional VAT on stock which you have on hand when you leave the flat rate scheme. I am desperately trying to find out if this money recovered/subtracted from your VAT bill (for example say it was £4000) does that £4000 then get added/accounted for any way in your company profits/cost of sales?

    Hi, I've seen some of your really useful posts. I'm wondering if you could take a look at mine? It's in the insolvency forum.
    Basically right now I have enough money left to cover my final VAT return due.

    If I then start the strike-off process before the due date for my annual accounts (31st October), will this be flagged as outstanding accounts or not as it hasn't passed the deadline?
