why not paper trade to begin with. (basically there are websites where you can practise buying stocks with a set amount and invest for free).
£200 is a little low. after all the percentage increase in share value will not equate to much, if you select a good stock.
Try share.com, thats an execution only site, that charges 7.50 per trade.
And a trade is classed as any transaction. Every time you buy or sell a share you will be charged.
