hi i have just passed my manual exams i am trying to research but i gather i need my practice licence professional indemnity insurance and am told sage is the best software to purchase i really am looking for just getting started before i find clients any informaton would be appreciated

To Jenni, I am Rob and I am new to this forum of finance,,I looked up VAT 100 forms because I am confused on how to deal with box 6. In my general ledger I have a "sales day book figure" added to "cash sales" and then added to "sale of fixed assets" and subtracted from this are my sales returns giving me this figure for box 1.

I thought that the sum of box 6 was simply the figure of box 1 x 17.5% but Iam wrong and I need some advice on what else I need to do, I take an exam on this on 27 th Jan, maybe you will not read this in time,

Maybe you can advise Jenni..
