Hello. My team is having trouble with Woo and VAT so I would appreciate any help please.

    1) we are selling items in the same subscription basket which are zero rated and standard rated

Woo appears to not be able to handle this and ascribes either a blanket zero, or 20% rate to all purchases.

Likewise the shipping, which should only be vattable on the proportion of goods which attract vat in the basket

    2) does anyone have a solution to this please?

    many thanks.

There should be settings within Woocommerce to tell it how to calculate tax based on shipping / billing. If it is subscription items, do they have which ever settings you currently have the tax set for?

Thank you for your reply. Woo certainly has settings for taxable status for each product.

But it's not calculating the VAT total correctly for products in our subscription basked which has a mix of taxable and non-taxable products.
