Do you have suggestions where to promote a competition (to gain newsletter subscribers) for a B2B business? Besides the usual: own website, social media. Are there other channels that you have utilised in the past and worked for you?

Depending on which industry you're in, try:
    • Placing articles ('infomercial' type descriptions of your competition) in suppliers' newsletters/websites
    • Articles in loyal customers' newsletters/websites
    • Articles in trade industry publications
    • Asking affiliates and others in your value chain to promote the competition for you
    • Depending on your budget (and market) paid ads on social media and Google Adwords.

Just looked at your webpage: office furniture and the like. The first thing I thought of when Is at the standing desk was: are they promoting on health-related sites? Not only on social media, but approaching healthcare organizations, etc?

    Hi Leo
Thank you for the suggestions, really helpful.
Yes, standing desks have many benefits for the health and collaborating with health organisations would definitely be beneficial.

You could do one in partnership with Chamber of Commerce of FSB if you are a member?

You're definitely then getting to B2B clients?

Alternatively launch through a free networking event?

Maybe use something like Hubspot to really target Linkedin connections with case studies etc. Some of your products are niche / changing rooms etc - maybe targeting facilities managers at stadiums, leisure and sports centres...same with office furniture, good luck

Funny enough that is something that we just started at the moment - to promote ourselves in facilities management publication.
We haven't tried Hubspot yet, but it was something that we looked at. Are you using Hubspot?
