Or go into a shop. Any shop.
Go into dozens of them if you want. Each gives you ideas about what other people are selling so you could sell.
Or look on ebay, amazon, etsy etc and see what other people are selling there.

The reason you don't have ideas is you do not want to.

There's people on here started with less than a hundred quid and started a business. There's people under the age of 16 who have come on the forums - and not regarding their first business but regarding additional businesses.

Ideas are visible plenty of times. Just whether you want to ignore them is up to you.

I was doing some website work and needed a contact form. I disliked the existing plugins so built my own. People liked it and asked for extra features which they paid for. This lead to a number of other plugins which all have a premium upgrade. This passive income earns a decent wodge and the custom work pays for the rest of the bills.

As Nick said, look at what other people do and see if you can do it better. My idea didn't come from an Amazon or eBay category, it came from a WordPress category.

I just put this to the test and ended up reading an article about how wombat poop comes out in cube shapes. And had an idea for a business... From cube shaped poop... You were correct sir.

    Stranger things have happened.
There's a company in Wales making paper from sheep poo.

    It's quite common: https://www.poopoopaper.com/en/

A quick Google and there are loads of dung paper providers.

Its actually nice paper to write on. Not quite like the supermarket stuff.
I don't buy it, had someone give me samples at a trade show.
Niche market but these days there's going to be or exists a market for pretty much any recycling / green / seen as green / different stuff.

Sorry I was trying / failing to be funny  Couldn't agree more though. We are using more and more biodegradable and plastic free packaging and it seems to be going down well with a lot of our customers.

I had a brainwave for a 'packaging free' delivery company not so long ago... Way out of my price range and experience level to start up at the moment, but one day...

    Never say never....

Some ideas may be adapted or be able to be implemented in part years down the line.

Who would have thought 5 years ago the anti-plastic and anti-packaging campaigns would have gone as far as they has?

i think i feel for you, sometimes i feel partners are more important than ideas, normally the first question you got if you went to venture capital, it would be where is your team. Having someone work toward your objectives, not just for salary or for the sake of spending their time somewhere, is very important. i normally try to expand my network via meetup etc, sometimes colleagues may not be as ambition as you are.
