Just wondering what peoples thoughts are regarding this?

Is it too early to start displaying xmas offers?

Even general xmas images on the site?

If not yet, when is the best time to do so

Thanks

Last month judging by the supermarkets!

Seriously though...

• Images on site: End of November at the earliest.
• Christmas Offers: Depends what it is? Most cases, November seems to be the 'norm'. Possibly, towards the end of October?

The toy retailers association releases a press release of the predicted best sellers on or around the 27th October. I believe many take this as the starting whistle?

Most of our customers will order the bulk of their xmas stock from us in february and take delivery august / september. So we advertise xmas stuff end of january, february!!

Our mail order / retail business will advertise it from beginning of september and start taking sales straight away.

Depends what industry you are in i guess

Christmas is a season, not a day, make the most of it. Come December 26th and it's time for Easter Bunnie to start hopping, after the sales of course. :) Nearly forgot, Valentines Day first then Easter.

Have been munching some cinnemon stars which had Christmas Packaging, I am already waiting for the snow to arrive and for the jingle of the bells and santa delivering all the presents.

You know Santa is dead don't you?

I am not sure that he is to be honest as he frequents our Artic Cabin in the garden, I know it's him because there are reindeer deposits on the lawn and I once caught one of his little helpers asleep under the reindeer hides in the cabin - he had helped himself to too much brandy. After I interrogated him, he confessed that Santa Clause was still alive and shared with me the secret location of where he lives - I can't return him as it's too far away so now Santa's little helper now works at Tesco Express in Bourne (I have a contact there who felt sorry for him) until that special date in December when Santa will come back to collect him, cough I mean pay the ransom! :D

I love Christmas, and as a buyer (not in business) I am already conscious that I only have two pay days left to pay for it and shop. This is my main motivation for buying a few things each month. So as a shopper, I would say any day now would suit me because I am already thinking about it, and I can't wait to get all Christmassy (is it sad that I am already burning the Spiced Apple candles?) :)
