Hello all, new member here seeking some advice.
My wife has been making wax melts for her own use as a hobby. She is now considering selling them but we want to make sure she is covered in case anything goes wrong.
Am I right in assuming she would just need a Product Liability Insurance policy? There would be no sales from a shop/stall/warehouse/business premises of any kind where customers could visit and risk injury; sales would be done online/remotely which I think negates the need for Public Liability Insurance?
She is already aware of other legalities such as CLP labelling and whatnot and is putting those provisions in place. We simply want to be covered in the event that a product she sells is blamed for any kind of injury or damage etc.
Any advice or help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
