    Hi,

I was wondering what you think of international student placements.
What are your thoughts about this and why would or wouldn't you get an international student at your own company?

    Thanks.

ISPO (our organisation) does exactly what ISP does but than in the UK.
Moreover, it is absolutely free of charge for students.
Our organisation is not based on earning a lot of money, so if you would take an intern you would pay the minimum of 300 pounds per month for accommodation and travel expenses from and to work (so no travel expenses from their home country to the UK).
We exist for almost 10 years now and we have placed hundreds of students.
If anyone has questions please send me a message or reply.
    Thank you.

Normally companies hire students from Asia because they have to pay less to the Asian students and their average pay is about 250 to 300 pounds

    That is not really true.
Most companies in the UK would rather take in European students than Asian, simply because the relations between the UK and the rest of Europe are stronger and easier to manage.
The only problem is the language barrier between both companies. This is where the European students come in. They break this barrier with the use of their own native language. Also the education level of the Netherlands and Germany is a look higher than here in the UK. Therefore, it is even more recommended that a company should use students from other European countries for furthering their companies.
    Advantages of European students:
    - Quick learners
    - Motivated (part of the education, they have to do it)
    - Speak at least one more language
    - High level of education
    - Flexible
