This year because of the way the days fall the last day of standard RM post is Friday 21st

We have booked collections on Thursday 27th - Friday 28th but we didn't book an extra one for the 24th which will mean 6 days before dispatch where the orders are just sat there

Do people think this was a mistake - we sell on Amazon and ebay and weren't planning to go in to even prep the orders so they are confirmed as dispatched on the channels ...? Do people think we are likely to get lots of questions / cancellations during this period when people change their mind ?

What have other people done to cope ?

We close December 21st and re-open in January. I think most people will be extremely reasonable in terms of not expecting deliveries around the 27th, but you need to make your closing period very clear and even clearer, when they order, when they should expect to receive their goods!

We are in over the weekend (22nd, 23rd) and have a collection on the 24th (between 11am-2pm) , closed 25th, 26th and then back on the 27th
