What business apps do you have on your phone/tablet?

Original Post:

I might have to explore LinkedIn again. Having said that, the last time I used it, it was rubbish.
That's quite broad

LinkedIn is a platform, that's all. (It happens to be the biggest business platform by far).

It's neither inherently great nor rubbish.

It may or may not be appropriate for your specific goals.

It may or may not boil down to how you are using it.

Personally, it's by far my most efficient and effective form of networking

I'm curious about what apps people use for their businesses. I have the Starling bank app, Xero accounting also Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and OneNote.

I only use my banking app on my phone and Avast One antivirus for security.

The rest is done on the mac computers. AccountEdge, Chrome (mail and browsing), Microsoft Office (mainly for Excel), Zoom, UTM, RealVNC and Avast One are the primary ones.

I'll give it another go. I have to admit the last time I used it I wasn't in the right frame of mind for networking but I'll look around.

    • Not exactly apps, but I keep a few of my product videos on my phone to show people I meet what I am working on.
    • Next, I am using the iOS shortcut app to add an icon on my home screen directing me to our company website.
    • Finally, I am using a speech-to-text app that I use to gather some ideas which are then transcribed and mailed to my personal email.

That speech-to-text app sounds useful. Can you let me know what it is called?

An app that has farting noises. Ideal when dealing with spam calls.

Coming back to this thread. I've started playing with LinkedIn a bit more and it is better than I remembered. I just need to make sure I have the correct information updated.
