how would one get their google ranking up without using adwords or paying is their any way to boost it without posting links everywhere and anywhere i can?

Hi pbs,

Do you mean Google pagerank?

I believe paying for adwords won't increase your PR ranking - paying for good links will but they are expensive.

Instead (unless you've got alot of cash) I recommend building up some links from different places - maybe join the Great UKBF Link Exchange - you'll get a good few links into your site pretty quickly!

Content Content Content

Spiders index your site and index all words on it.
You'll find that the more content on there the higher the chance of being picked up.

Depending on the wording and phrases you may rise quicker than others.

I have been picked up on phrases I never thought would be searched for - purely by coincidence.

Bottom line is - the more relevant content - the higher placing you will get for that word

Hello pbsnegotiator

You will need as the 2 other member said a large link base that link to you. Try visiting www.linkmarket.net and start building your link pages.

Also add as much content as you can, optimize your meta tags, descriptions and title ones especialy. Add as much of the site description in to the actual content of the site as you can. This will make your key words much stronger.

Best of luck.

Climbing the search engines for your keywords is really about finding out what your high ranking competitors are doing - and do it one better.

Things that play a big part are:

- Number of pages on your site
- Content related to your keywords
- Links out to related websites
- Tons of links in from very releated websites
- Create a simple sitemap, make sure Google can visit all your pages easily
- How reguarly updated your site is

There are lots more but a starting point is who is linking to your top ranking competitiors - it's these people that are helping them stay above you. You can start requesting links from these websites first.

Remember, patience is a virtue when it comes to SEO but some simple techniques can gain you some instant results.
