This is the URL of our category for 'Computer Chairs'
    https://chairsforoffices.com/computer-chairs

By 'luck' we have discovered that this URL also goes to the category ' Computer Chairs'
https://chairsforoffices.com/computer-chairs/thickly-padded-multi-adjust-chair-blue-mesh-fabric.html It should not do so.

    What is causing this?

I have checked every re-direct that we have set up, there are not many (c70) so its easy to check, none relate to this or even close to it.

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you!

    Graeme

Unfortunately this is not going to be fixed by simply viewing the site, you need to contact your developers or an OpenCart expert (such as ourselves) who can look into this issue, diagnose it and correct it for you.

It appears you have some non-standard opencart code/plugin as the url scheme is nothing like what opencart uses by default, so this would be the first point of call, working out what is influencing this, probably a modification or if not purely in the htaccess file.

I don't know what the cause is but it's not specific to the URL's you have used here.

    For example:

    https://chairsforoffices.com/computer-chairs/thickly-padded-multi-adjust-chair-blue-mesh-fabric.html

    https://chairsforoffices.com/computer-chairs/hello

    https://chairsforoffices.com/computer-chairs/hello/world

    Or for another category:

    https://chairsforoffices.com/tall-office-chairs/hello

And in fact any page on the website:

    https://chairsforoffices.com/returning-or-cancelling.html/test

It's an issue with your .htaccess rules or the software's router. These days you will generally route any non-existent file into the software for its own router to handle and throw 404's appropriately, so it's likely the software you're using is misbehaving.

Edit - Sorry, I've just noticed this is the Opencart forum. I'm not overly familiar with Opencart but either way it's a wider routing issue.

    @Mike Hayes . Thank you.

Are you able to tell me please, how you were able to find the other URL's that you have mentioned? I am thinking of what I should do to check all is okay after a solution has (hopefully) been found?

Another issue I've noticed is this: http://recordit.co/qRx6iqIF1Q

But obviously the URL issue is the big problem at the moment which if not treated may be used against you (or may already be) to cause duplicate content issues and etc.

@WebDesires - Thank you for taking a look - but when I try all those 'buttons' they work perfectly, so I am not really clear what you are pointing out?

This is a well-known issue with v1.5, is that what you're using?
