Turkey importing

I'm thinking of setting up a small new company next year selling clothing but want to know the best way to start importing.

I'm currently ordering samples from turkey and i'm considering a few orders of stock in advance.
I just want to know if i need to register my Company first , apply for a EORI number ? Also what costs would i need to pay , just VAT at customs?

As far as I know, Turkey is an associated member of EU and products made in Turkey get into EU market without paying VAT and custom fees.
