Was just wondering that myself. I was reccomended them and just went back to have another look over their site. Its been down all day. Would be interested to know if its a regular occurence and if it's effecting their customers sites?

Maybe they're doing the 3d secure thing. It put Protx down for a couple of days last year, and Worldpay were a but crap for a couple of days when they did it too........

If you use Streamline, then worldpay have a special tarriff they don't tell anyone about which is 1% for CC and 13p for debit cards, with no monthly fees, or set up charges etc. If you're thinking of changing!!

    http://www.streamline.com/

If you are a FSB member you get discounted streamline rates.

The streamline/worldpay tariff isn't publicised, (only very very rarely, with very few links!!) you need to phone up worldpay and apply for it.

They're all part of the RBS group, so there is a lot of reward for mutal back scratching!!

Then play the "customer loyalty" card.

FSB is federation of small businesses, and I would recommend that you consider joining, it's a small membership fee, with not a lot of downside. And would recommend 10fold if you are either employing or considering employing anyone.

But the streamline discounts alone will probably recoup the membership fee. When I joined FSB, they sent a letter to streamline, who automatically reduced my rates (quite substantially). I was pleseantly impressed.

I phoned Worldpay up for this and they had no idea what I was talking about. I'm not an FSB member so I assume you have to be one to get these low rates?

    No.

It's a worldpay/streamline thing. Ask for David Lloyd on New Business. He put my application through today.

Its called the Streamine DirectBank Offer. Which also means that you don't need to wait 28 days odd for your money.

Pureple Squared, who Transx host with, have just sold their business to Provider-One. It appears other people who were hosting with Purple Squared have found their websites down.

it would appear that purple squared is actually owned by one of the directors of transx?

    Hi

I contacted Transx about signing up with them, the guy on the online support did not seem to know what 3D security which made me very concerned as they are a card processing company and should know about that. Also I asked if transx could be integrated with zen cart no answer back in a week not too impressed.
