Great news for all fans of the show - we will be back on air next week for a fourth series.

The programme follows enforcement agents from The Sheriffs Office as they enforce High Court writs on behalf of creditors who have won a judgment in court, but still not been paid and commercial landlords beleaguered by squatters.

There are five episodes and they will be shown daily from Monday 16th to Friday 20th March on BBC One at 11 am, and repeated the following morning on BBC Two at 7:35 am.

Some highlights of the new series include:

    • Enforcement of a £35,000 debt against a major credit card company – how on earth will they pay?
    • Eviction of squatters who had barricaded themselves into an old pub, where the cellar and electrics were flooding – will sparks fly?
    • In a race for payment between our enforcement agent and another bailiff – who will be the winner?
    • A chocolate shop and Thai restaurant – could the enforcement agents take payment in kind?
    • Will we find the doctor who just locked the doors and left without paying his locum after being struck off by the General Medical Council?
We hope you enjoy the show – if you are unable to watch it live, don’t forget to record it! It will also be available on the BBC iPlayer.

The Sheriffs Are Coming has attracted a viewing audience of 30 million. It won the Broadcast Awards Best Daytime award in 2014 and was shortlisted again in 2015. It was also a finalist in the National Television Awards in both 2014 and 2015.
