Hello,
We are looking at extending our contact centre and offer a full 24/7 answering service for Small Businesses with some fairly competitive pricing. How many of you would be interested in the following ?
A flat fee out of hours phone answering service - with messages emailed to you - SMS (At a 8p cost).
The service is purely for Small Businesses and we would therefore only expect to take up to 150 messages per month for a company and would then charge a fee for every message sent over the 150.
I know it is not a service many would find useful but we thought we could offer this service for around £50 - £100 per month per company. So you never miss a call or message again.
We are still working through the logistics on it but looking at the market the fees seem quite expensive for call handling in the middle of the night. There are loads of great VA's and Answering services from 8 - 8 but not many that are truly 24/7.
We have a few clients who have showed real interest but wanted to see how many business people would consider it.
We would offer all the usual, company answered in your company name. Message taken and emailed straight away. We could text at a small fee and possible CRM intergration for some clients (again depending on complexity there may be a slightly larger fee). We would also lok at taking calls then dispatching on call workers (Great for companies who offer 24 hr callout)
The other part of me thinks that we could just be an over priced answerphone and there will be minimal calls at 3 in the morning that could get actioned until the following day but the other half thinks there will be some SME's who like the idea of having a 24/7 service.
As you can see we are really shaping the business plan here and just wanted some thoughts
