I'm a director and secretary of what is now a single director company. There used to be two directors. Now it's just me. The secretary role is a legacy of when it was mandatory to have one. Which of course is no longer the case. I'm just wondering whether to remove the role of secretary via Companies House. No major reason other than just keeping things simple. Can you think of any benefits or drawbacks to keeping/dropping the secretary role in this instance? Thanks.
