Hey guys I've just launched a new project SEO Ranking Checker SEO ranking checker will test your site and will show issues (if any) BTW you can download a detailed pdf report after the test. Also, you can run site vs site comparison test.
That's one of the nicer looking tools I've seen, wouldn't really call it a Ranking Checker though. One annoying thing is it appears you can only check a site once? Also, can you only check the homepage of a site?
Agreed, it doesn't check the rank of a site. And the report contains incorrect information. For example: it states no analytics are installed when the are. But there will be those who like this sort of report so well done.
I wanted another domain name, however it was purchased by someone else as always... You can check site multiple times if you need to. there is an update button on the generated report. Yes at the moment you can check only homepage. I plan to add an option to check single exact URL as well.
Thanks, maybe make it a bit clearer? It seems to check the non secure non www version, does it still work if people don't have their redirects set up correctly? Are the Twitter share buttons working correctly? Very nice, better than most I have seen even if the score may not be that accurate, gives a nice baseline score though.
As per fisix, missed analytics Also say some misleading things like blank alt text is bad and alt text is used by search engines ( well they do) but alt text is for accessibility - screen readers - and blank alt text SHOULD be used on images that are no pertinent to the content. Doesn't seem to detect layout shift Aren't there many tools like this? Not sure it add great value.
Websites hosted different ways on different servers got different configuration and some information might be incorrect. I've tested a couple of my own websites and if analytics are installed via tag manager it will not detect- that's for sure in all my cases. Also some websites block crawlers, for example Bloomberg website detects bots and spiders and may show capcha- well... many scenarios might be...
I liked it as it pointed out one or two simple things that I could do to improve the Googleability of my site which I corrected and a few others that were beyond my pay grade
I liked it too, once I found the update function. Wouldn't put that much importance on the score as you can lose points for things that don't really matter, but it picked up a couple of silly mistakes and is fun to tinker with a page to see if you can get a higher score.
It has a nice look and feel and what is good is that there are a lot of points on the page, some tools just have a few. It certainly has potential, are you going to add a paid pro version or stick with the freebie version? It will be hard to make money with just one or two banner ads on a page.
This is happening in real time. On average it takes 1-2 minutes to complete. Note: some websites block crawlers and can't be accessed or may show inaccurate information because of unusual website/server configuration.
