    Not Yoast.

    All in One SEO is better.

    But all you need is the means to edit page titles and the meta description. I built one that does just that if you want it.

    I have Yoast at the moment but all I use it for is the titles and descriptions, so a much lighter one sounds better. What's yours called/where can I get it? Cheers.

    Just tested to make sure it all still works with WP5.2

    It's not sophisticated - it just a very simple way to edit your page titles and descriptions. If you need tweaks and additions just let me know.

    Link in my signature.

    Yoast is easy to use if you're a beginner but All in One SEO is a much better tool.

    I would suggest trying both and seeing which one you prefer the look of. Those posters above are right in saying that you only need the ability to edit the title and descriptions, one added bonus to using one of the above plugins is that they add OpenGraph to your pages so your links appear better on social medias. For example, Facebook will look at your page's code and look for OpenGraph to obtain the page title, description, link and image and display it nicely with the image and link together, opposed to a plain link.

    That’s if you want your stuff to appear on FB. Many don’t. In any case, adding open graph to the theme header is a doddle, you don’t need a plugin for this.

    Popular =/= good.

    Yoast has a lot of fundamental problems with the whole way it manages optimisation. SEO has changed a lot in the last year but Yoast is stuck in the dark ages.

    Win at what?

    If you use all the tools that Yoast provides your SEO will get worst.
