Selling a website

    Hi guys,

    I'm selling a website, it get's lot of visitors a month, makes £400 a month, google adsense and advertising generated by sales on the facebook page (google from the websites).

    Do you know the best place to sell it please?

    Sell it to the customers of the site. You will have (well should have) a list of customers who have bought from it, send them all an email.

    Tell them how much it makes, how much you're selling it for, how long it will take to get their investment back and what its running costs is.

    If they liked it and bought from it, then they are probably the best people to want it.

    If not, put a note up (an image so google can't see it) saying it is for sale, it has worked with a few sites we sold for clients.

    Of course there are the agencies, but they take a hefty cut like sedo and others you can find in google.

    Flippa is probably going to be the spot with your best return, though also listing it on BST threads with digitalpoint, and similar sites, will give you a wider appeal.

    you could contact your competitors, they might very well be interested in buying your website and its traffic!

    If you want to sell your website which has lots of visitors then you could contact with your competitor might be they will interested in buying your website.
