royal wedding and online business

Having read a lot about this over the past few months I can't fail to admire the Middletons success with their online party business....I find it admirable and incredible that one woman could set this up from scratch and make enough money to educate her 3 children at one of the top schools in the country.
I would be over the moon if my own business was only a quarter of the success of this one.
Wondering what thoughts others have on how they have managed to acheive this with an online shop.

Don't forget they started out as a catalogue mail order business and only went online later as far as I know.

I used to order extensively from their paper party catalogues when my children were little and as far as I know, they were the only ones doing the themed parties at that time.

They got in there first and have been much copied since but always stay one step ahead and do what the do better than all the copycats.
