We've been using Tracked24, 48 and returns for around a year now and we're very happy with the service overall. We're not unhappy with the pricing - I believe it represents value for money - but i'd like to encourage a larger portion of our customers to use this service over first class, and thus we need to try and haggle a slightly better price from Royal Mail.

I know the quantity they count is the above services plus the 'international secure' services, as they call the 3 - Tracked & Signed, Signed & Tracked, but I wondered how many people typically send as a total and whether they got a reduction once going over a certain volume? I don't need to know what you pay, just curious about pricing tiers.

we send 1500-2000 parcels (under 2kgs) a year and barely got any discount from the advertised price list.

Are the tracked prices based on an average weight, like normal 24/48 and is that just tracked without a signature?
    Thanks

Yes average weight. Those prices are without sig, can't remember the increase in price for sig (we don't use it) I think its around 50p.

Yes per year. You can be below the average for 3 months but if you miss target after 6 months they will put you in another tier.

what do you do if the customer says they haven't received the item? If they have not signed for it you have no proof?

We've never had that problem to be honest. The fact that it's tracked is a deterrent enough.
