I lease a Pub in Scotland from a Pubco. Business is not performing and I want out without losing everything. Pubco says if I close my doors I will still be responsible for rent etc until new tenant is found. This could take forever but I cant afford to continue much longer. I own Fixtures & Fittings and stock and cant take these with me if I close my doors. Does anyone have experience with this kind of problem. Do I take the bankruptcy route? Any suggestions!!
