Hi
I am planning to start property development and staying in the house I plan to renovate to get started. I plan to do this to avoid CGT and income tax as I am 40% tax payer or would I be better setting up a limited company.
If I stay in the property and renovate it do I have to register as a business with the HMRC?
Also I plan to employ a project manager 16 hours a week as I work full time. Would this be an issue if I am not registered as a business with the HMRC?
thanks for any advise
