Death by powerpoint comes to mind.

Powerpoint is an electronic slide show. It is not a magic formula for selling. I feel if a person is to make use of suc a presentation they must understand it and the words they use.

Create a TV advert with images and sound and that is great but powerpoint should be used to aid the presenter. No presenter and you just have a large piece of spam on the wall - better off in the bin for all the good it does.

PowerPoint is great for large presentations that are for suspects, but we would never recommend this policy for meeting with prospects. This method is shown to provide the least amount of interaction and hence is less effective in relationship/ solution selling.
