Does anyone know anything about running a take away cafe from a old police box? There an established one for sale in a busy and affluent area in Edinburgh for offers over £15,000 plus £2400 ground rent pa.
    Any thoughts?

Oooooooh, apologies, seems like they are a lot bigger in Scotland than they are down here.

Surely they do not have tables inside, and if so,how many covers can you cater for ?

To answer your question. The best way is to see their accounts,if you think you can rely on them.

I didn't know they were different sizes down south, but here the business seems set up just for the barista to be inside with coffee machine etc and then relies on passing trade. Loads of mums with buggies round about and commuters walking to work that appear to be the main customer base.

I'm sure there is/was one in glasgow - I think it was the Buchanan street police box, if it is then it's closed down. Probably because of the amount of costa's and starbucks around the place now.

Heck, fancy having to take your whole store down at night, and then come along in the morning with hammer and nails and build it back up again.;)

Yeah,I think they got it the wrong way round - the tardis could just fly off into another dimension and come back in the morning?
