Hello,
We have incorporated a Private company limited by shares on 10.08.2010, and later we confirmed with the Companies House that the Company is active although no business was yet done. we have spent some on travel expenses but we have not earned any money till now.
Now that the 1st Annual return is due, I would like to learn if we can fill up a DCA (Form AA02) and if 'yes' I would like some help on some definitions.
The companies share capital is £1000 of which 1 each number of ordinary shares of £1 are taken by 2 partners.

Date of balance sheet: 31.08.2010
Called up share capital not paid: £1000
Cash at Bank and in hand: i guess whatever the Bank account shows
Net assets: ?
Issued share capital: Ordinary shares 2 of £1 each : ? (not sure what to write in the following box)
Shareholders fund: ?
Statements: For the year below ending the Company is exempt....etc.
For the year 31.08.2010

Any help will be appreciated. TIA

    By defn:

A company is dormant if it has had no 'significant accounting transactions' during the accounting period. A significant accounting transaction is one which the company should enter in its accounting records.

Travel expenses would be entered in the accounting records.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I am willing to bear the travel expenses personally if i can avoid extra paperwork. Since no earnings made i'd prefer to stay dormant.
And sorry for my mistake the company was incorporated on 31.08.2009.
So in this case can i fill up the DCA?
