plant hire insurance

Does anyone know off a recommended insurance company that deal with hire companys, as I'm thinking off hiring out my cherry pickers, but my current insurer wont give me insurance unless I'm operating them which defeats the object off hiring them out, as not everyone requires an operator. I understand their concerns as they are expensive machines, so if anyone knows off anyone to speak to i would be appreciated

We have used JMP Insurancefor a whole of market approach. They have always been tested on pricing and have not let us down for years. John Phillips is your man to help steer you.

Insurance companies require the operator to have some sort of certificate of competence for the operation of plant machinery. So even if you find someone who will insure a dry-hire, they will require you to insist on certification for the operator such as an IPAF cert.
