Since Royal Mail scrapped the smaller weigh bands for packets in their 2012 price increases it has meant smaller - lighter packets for us are now 2.19 to send our base price plus the pick and pack cost

However using FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon) it is actually cheaper - nearly £1 in some cases - as they are just over the large letter thickness but very light so don't get a hefty packaging charge - however FBA doesn't really work as we have ebay as well

Does anyone know what typical pick, pack and postage costs are in virtual warehousing ... due to the volume these send out can they get it any cheaper?

    Cheers

    Hi Danny,

Why you can't use FBA for eBay orders?

It's not like you're limited only to Amazon when you use FBA.

Its not that we are opposed to using FBA - just we would prefer to not send ebay orders in amazon boxes if virtual warehousing could give us a similar price

at the moment we dispatch from our warehouse so we are looking at options to try balance costs and see which is the most effective especially as RM prices look like they are going up again

Hi, I know of this company which is about to launch: cloudfulfilment.co.uk

I know the guys who developed it.

They even offer free multichannel selling tools for Ebay, Play and Amazon.

I can put you in contact with them?
