No. Born and bred here. Never been abroad even. Which is why it's slightly amusing. But lots of long time employees here have their backs up now. We have also been to we all must do 52 hours of learning other people's roles a year but that's another story.Are you from overseas?
In fact they are breaking the law by not demanding the proofs.
I'm surprised somebody doesn't have a passport - I realise some people never want to go abroad, but surely most people now have them - or am I just wrong?
Unless (like a chap I know from Ghana) it expired and they never bothered to renew it. So when asked to provide the requisite documentation he couldn't and subsequently lost his job.Then she'd have a passport, wouldn't she!
