OsCommece -> Sage Integration ?

I am considering a few companies who offer commercial solutions to do this and allow you to download all OsCommerce data such as customers, orders etc directly into Sage saving hours of fuss.

Does anyone else out there do this already or have any recommendations for solutions ?

Well if you're using line50 and you can customise the customer and order output from OSCommerce you can just import the customer details to add a new customer and any transactions straight into Line50.

We're working on an API for KAshFlow and then a module/add-on for OSCommerce so that your sales/customers, etc from OSCommerce are entered directly into your KashFlow account in real time.

This is a couple of months away yet though.

Actually fuzioneer it *is* a good solution for the money. I checked out their website and it links directly into Sage Line 50. I would have just done an extract that creates the files in the required format for you to import, their solution is seamless and whilst I am on the sage developers programme so could do the same there is more effort required. I think if you start to put some volume through OSC its going to be worth your while making the investment.

got some time on my hands today fuz so had a quick look around for you and found this http://www.holbi.co.uk/modules-for-oscommerce/product/item/oscommerce-account-and-erp-connector/, looks like a similar product (and the site looks very similar too) and they are doing it for 335, lets see if we can get it cheaper!

Duane, no looking at the specs it only creates customers (where necessary) and sales orders, no payments which as they are using the Sage SDK they *could* do but perhpaps its because a user could have 101 different ways of taking payments.

Update: I have now found this http://www.oscommerce-manager.com/PAGE-15-oscommerce-manager-product-information.html#screenshots its a windows app that connects to your oscommerce site and lets you manage everything, $89 and theres a demo download, I couldnt see if there was an order export facility but if there is you're half way there!

I am a bit late to this thread....only 3 years...but there is now a connector for OScommerce and KashFlow:

It costs £12 a month and will import invoices, create customer records (or match them to existing ones) import payments, handle vouchers and coupons and even create credit notes.

Hi Duane,

That surprises me a little; we're using Sage within CFH, and haven't had any issues with the CSV import, with CSV files transferring transaction data as credits and debits from DocMail.

I do believe we may have a custom module in Sage we've been importing CSV's for some time.

There's no problem with importing transaction data.

the problem is payments. They can't be allocated and have to be imported as PA and SA (payments on account) .

Cheers for the clarification.
I'm not 100% on the rest of our setup (other routes in for the payments), but the data requirement for the Accounts Dept from DocMail was just the transactions, so we never came across the payments import issue.
