Opinion's Please People :-)

Hi all.
Ok I have just got back off holiday and its now back to business ;-)
Ok, I have been putting alot of thought to my new holiday website, and I am in 2 minds whether to have an actual availability search and online bookings facility, or whether to just "list" the properties instead and then enable site visitors to contact the property owners dirctly in order to book?, I would charge a yearly/monthly fee for each of those anyway (although if I just list it would be less) but with the latter there would be no commision charge.
To be honest I am on an initial small budget with this, and cant afford the quotes I have been getting, with the booking facility included.
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all
Bev
ps, thanks to all the designers who have quoted me so far.

An availability search is only good if the cottage owners keep it up to date... but to me, it's essential, saves loads of time ringing round! But if you can't afford it yet... maybe you can sell it as an upgrade to existing clients once you're up and running? We've had our website built with all our 'like to haves' in mind, so it doesn't have to be completely re-written if we want to add something in the future, it's easier to incorporate.

Thanks for that Sharon, adding an availabilty search and online booking facility later on is definately an option.
