    Righto, how about this?

In Manchester, though being a Mancalarder myself, I find somewhere slightly on the border of the city centre so its still easy to get to and park?

Hmmmm.....no responses now we are talking turkey? Am I to assume that the people that voted for Warrington are no longer interested and Mancs have gone quiet? :|

    Hi Maria

We are (Rusty and myself) happy to meet wherever. Meets like this have been arranged before and I think there's a bubbling enthusiasm that usually kicks in from the outset but the enthusiasm can sometimes swing around if things hang around too long in the planning stages. I'm not being cynical or critical here, I think life just catches people up sometimes.

I'd really like to see it go-ahead so is it time to simply choose a date and leave folk to do whatever?

From memory I think weekdays have been the favourite.

Might be an idea if you choose a place that provides both, then folk can make up their own mind. Any that are travelling a distance like Andy would probably appreciate a crisp or two.

A lot of people tend to have a thing about eating in public places with people they dont know.
Personally my local serves pies which are perfect for when the football is on. Im not a huge drinker but i would be happy with either. Also what day will it be on, i think that will be the hardest bit as a lot of people now work weekends.

just another little conundrum for you to figure out :p

Yup also you ain't never going to get it right for everyone so don't stress it just give people enough warning. I think most of us hate having to do weekends. For me during the silly season that is my only time to play catch up.

Hell weekends are either cricket pavillions or driving a mad potential olympian around the country at 4am to get a good race in!
