Did you copy and paste it in? Possibly from a Word document?

You shouldn't copy and paste from Word onto a website, as a general rule.
    As I said, ironic. ;)

Look at the bottom right corner of the original post. What options do you have?

    Ironic in what way?

My services do not include anything HTML based or website building etc

I have only come to this forum looking for advice. I do not appreciate your sarcasm and general rudeness :(

I'm only joking, but its not HTML, you just don't know how to use Word. I think if you copy and paste plain text you will have better results.

I asked you what options you had at the bottom of the first post as I was hoping to help you sort it out.

Do you have an edit button bottom right of your post?
If not, it's suck like that.

FYI forums differ on the HTML/BB code the will accept (down to admin discretion)

Ignore people taking digs, it's a business forum, to be expected :)

I am with you Office Fairy - I think Stretchy needs to perhaps work on the PR part a little more.

PUBLIC RELATIONS!!!! Trying to help with sarcasm??? - I think not.

Back to the drawing board with general communication skills me thinks for Stretchy!!!

Good luck Office Fairy from a fellow VPA.

I am just highlighting your general attitude, especially towards someone asking for help.

Read all the threads properly and you will see why she got upset.

At one point you asked her to check before she published - pot and kettle spring to mind with your choice of words.

You really don't understand the difference do you. She was asking for help, i'm not. Neither am I trying to impress anyone. I have no need for any PR on this forum.

When you have been around for a bit longer you will realise that we get loads of people offering services of all descriptions, asking questions in a desperate attempt to spam the forum with their services. Its sometimes hard to refrain from being a little sarcastic when the skills they are promoting are so obviously lacking. The OP may well have had good intentions and if the execution of her posting was a little better I would have simply given her some good advice. Unfortunately people who are caught out with strange looking posts, after copying and pasting from word, are more often than not spammers using copy and paste for speed.

Thanks for highlighting my attitude, i'm sure the forum appreciates your effort.

Hello from another Virtual Assistant :) I operate from North Leeds. Have you thought about offering call handling services? This can be beneficial for small businesses and also sole traders who are on the road and can't take every call. Wishing you luck with your business! If you would like to swap tips and experience or just a chat about the trade, send me a PM. Dawn
