When I create a new folder in either the child theme or parent theme, using FTP, it shows in the FTP and in the Cpanel Files section.

But in WordPress, appearance, editor, it just won't show.

I've tried it on three different sites with different hosts and same issue with all.

    What is going on?

I can create PHP files, the new files will show within WordPress editor, but a directory/folder just will not ****ing show.

I even deleted WordPress off one site and reinstalled thinking something was wrong but it's not.

And I even tried a different FTP too.

I've never experienced this issue before, and it wouldn't be anything to do with permissions either.

No it’s just because of how Wordpress works. It will only show the theme folder. Child themes have their own theme folder, they aren’t sub folders in the main theme.

    I think maybe you misunderstood.

What i am trying to do is possible, I merely want to replicate folders from within the parent theme to the child theme,

This is one of my child themes

The js and includes are obviously folders, showing in the wp editor.

But when I try on anything I have to do this again, it isn't working. The folder i create shows in the ftp and cpanel files but will not show in the wp appearance editor.

I even tried deleting my cache and still no show.
