Ring up someone like Staples and ask them to quote for a box, they are normally quite helpfull
if you want the harder chalk like what we use in Engineering its Called French Chalk and you can buy this easily on ebay by the box http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/French-Ch...t=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item53fab6247b
Great advice there about searching on google. After 15 years trading online it never once crossed my mind - silly me.
I do have one supplier but it's all in 'vintage' packaging and I'd hoped to get something a little less value added.
Next time I need a basic question answering I'll try Club Penguin.
It really depends on what sort of quantity you are thinking of. If you are looking for large quantities, you are better off sourcing from China, (something I can help with), although if you don't need that much local suppliers might be better given chalk can be expensive to transport, unless you can wait a long time for shipping.
I went with the vintage packed stuff and its working fine. The product images are quite appealing and for my market it works well.
